red_mel and young daughter (born 2006). My sister is last_girl_guide. I work as Head of Software, managing programmers at a government education quango.
I used to be a goth (didn't everyone?) and I guess I still am, but I just don't feel the need to be Embarrasing Dad by dressing up strange in front of my daughter's friends. If I want to be intellectual and morose, these days I'll just open my mouth and tell people about it, rather than act it out through the medium of fashion.

I am a member of the Conservative party, an advocate of intellectual property freedom and rural society. If you don't want to hear these kinds of mainstream political views, do not allow me to post to your journal and do not read mine.
